With the signature deep red of Domaine A still showing strongly after all these years, the 2011 Pinot Noir is yet another example of the exquisite marriage of craft, fruit and patience that sets Domaine A apart.
In spite of the age, this vintage is particularly robust, with plenty of dark fruit and some delightful savoury notes (plus a hint of raspberry leaf).
Ripe, svelte tannins and a lingering hint of pepper round out a long, elegant finish. 95 points from Halliday.
